The Linn Genealogical Society Library moved from the Linn County Courthouse to the new Albany Public Library on February 27, 2009. The collection is available to the public in the Linn Genealogy Research Room of the Library at 2450 14th Ave. in Albany, Oregon. The Research Room is on the second floor of the library past the Juvenile Reading reference desk and is staffed by volunteers to help visitors reaserch their family and local history. The Research Room is open when volunteers are available. New evening and weekend hours allow researchers more flexibility to visit the Research Room. Note: The hours are subject to change. The entire membership of the Linn Genealogical Society appreciates and thanks the Linn County Clerk's Office for providing the space for the LGS Library at the Linn County Courthouse for the last eight years. Thank You! |
