The earliest burial at the Waverly Cemetery was that of Robert Houston, Jr. and his wife, Mary Houston, who were interred here in 1851, two years before Oregon achieved Statehood.
The Waverly Cemetery is located just off of Highway 99E, next to Waverly Lake, near the northern city limit in the city of Albany.
